2568 is the Los Angeles childhood address of co-founder Lorenzo Lawenda. 2568 is also the inspiration for the name of the new shoe company that Lorenzo launched with his wife, Jamie. They chose the name because of its anonymous nature and their personal connection to it. This power shoe couple have worked side by side in the shoe business for many years. They recently fell in love with the rich Guatemalan culture and the stunning textiles designed and woven by women. This inspired their line of shoes, which are classic styles with a twist to reflect the culture of Guatemala and the Native Americans in the region.
